Interior

The light, smart interior has a 1st-floor pale yellow lobby with a shiny tiled floor built around a large sunken rock water feature; groups of modern cane furniture on Persian rugs provide lounge areas and there is a pleasant sea-facing terrace. A small cosy bar with a large television leads off. On the ground floor are shops, a bank and an inviting nautical themed entertainment and cocktail bar terrace. A separate block houses an attractive Italian eaterie on the 1st-floor and a well-presented Andalusian-style main buffet restaurant with a tall brick vaulted ceiling and decorative tilework.

Grounds

A long, wide man-made golden sand beach has plenty of thatched shade, windbreaks, wooden loungers and a casual bar & grill. Sizeable, well-tended gardens are a bit patchy in parts and filled wth plenty of low palms; a rocky Flintstones-style amphitheatre is beside a large wave pool, and a cave bar/restaurant has an aquarium and swim-up section. A lazy river-style pool meanders round an island and under a cave and bridges.
