The surprise part is the 3rd, built high above on the cliff top behind and benefitting from extensive landscaped grounds that could not be squeezed into the area below.

Being careful to establish where rooms are located at time of booking, this property suits all ages from children through to the elderly with even the access to the cliff top relatively easy.

Exterior

A strip of car parking separates this property from the road and the lower-level is occupied by integral restaurants, including Little Buddha, and shops. The southern end is 2-storeys high with arched windows to the upper-level and contains the main entrance with its glass frontage and narrow portico. The northern wing is 5-storeys high with balconied rooms.

Interior

The large glass frontage illuminates the expansive double height of foyer which is dominated by a centrepiece 2 wing staircase with wrought-iron balustrades. The polished marble effect flooring blends well with neutral-coloured walls.

In addition to the long wooden fronted reception counter there is a lobby bar and clusters of rattan style antique cushioned armchairs and sofas some of which sit on a raised area within semi-circular windows overlooking the swimming pool.

On the upper-level is the main restaurant which has high backed metal furnishings in both indoor setting and on a narrow terrace overlooking the grounds.

Grounds

The main body of the resort is quite compact with a 6-storey wing of accommodation virtually surrounding the swimming pool. The terraces to the ground-floor and arched balconies to the upper levels overlook the paved terrace with mattressed sunloungers.

A stairway leads down to a well equipped wellness centre and fitness room. Within the wing there is an elevator to the 3rd-floor from where a walkway winds and climbs to the second part of the property which is situated on top of the cliff.

There are clusters of 2-storey high white faced accommodation spread throughout attractive gardens laid to lawn with shrubs, flower beds and trees. One of the 2 pools at the upper-level has water tubes and both have a bar where snacks are available in the day.

The 3rd part of resort is situated across the road at the front and comprises the beach facility accessed through a passage under the casino. The broad stretch of sandy beach is furnished with sunloungers and parasols. There is a snack and bar facility.

Location

Area Type: Located opposite the start of the main Na’ama Bay thoroughfare in the centre of the resort with a cliff backdrop atop of which is the 2nd, more expansive area of the property. A wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars are in the immediate vicinity of the main entrance, 15-min walk from the upper resort including elevator. Transfer to Sharm el Sheikh Airport 20-mins.
