Tropicana Rosetta Hotel

Although this property has a rather shabby exterior facing the road, the lobby soon dispels any lingering doubt about what may lay beyond. Its stylish features and lower ground-floor restaurant add to the ambience which is suited to adults and family parties alike. The lower part of the resort with its swimming pool is overlooked by the accommodation built on the hillside and reached by quite steep steps.

Exterior

Separated from the main road by a lawned garden adorned by palm trees, the 2-storey white facaded main building stands at a right angle to a few shops and a sushi restaurant. A circular pathway leads around a water feature and continues to the steps up to the glass front entrance which is covered by an angular, integral portico overlooked by some balcony rooms topped with gently sloping tiled roof.

Interior

Doors open onto a hexagonally shaped apparent single height reception lobby with polished beige marble effect flooring and wooden balustrades surrounding and overlooking a lower ground-floor where the main restaurant is located. On the higher level are the reception counter, some clusters of soft seating and the lobby bar beyond which glass doors overlook the gardens.

Grounds

2 and 3-storey accommodation blocks have a white facade with neat wooden balcony and terrace railings. Tidy paths meander across the lawn adorned with palm trees and shrubs with steps leading up to the pool which has a bar servery and narrow surround furnished with sunloungers and parasols.

The pool area is backed by a 3m high cement wall above which further accommodation blocks are located reached by quite steep steps. The pathway through this area, bordered by gardens, leads to sister property Tropicana Jasmine Club.

Area Type: Standing landside off the main road running behind Na’ama Bay off which most properties are located. Overlooked by sister property Tropicana Jasmine Club to the rear. The main entertainment area of the resort, including shops, restaurants and bars, reached within 10-min walk. Transfer to Sharm el Sheikh Airport 20-mins.
