Tropicana Azure Club Hotel

On the land-side of the resort, this property has a choice of dining options and a wide range of leisure facilities including a large central pool area which attracts couples and families looking for a self-contained establishment. Of course, it has the benefit of being directly opposite it's sister establishment where the beach facilities can be utilised. Most of the facilities are on a single-level and it should be noted that not all rooms are inward facing.

Exterior

A large double-arched gatehouse stands on the main thoroughfare of Nabq Bay opposite the car parking area and shops in front of the LTI Grand Azure. These lead through to a central courtyard and a series of wide steps leading up to the glass front doors of Tropicana Azure Club, a high single storey pink-walled building.

Interior

The expansive foyer is square in shape with white marble-effect floor and a long wood panelled reception desk. The lobby bar occupies one corner with dark wood cushioned seating. The central area of the foyer is sparsely furnished but there is soft sofa and armchair seating around the sides. The main buffet restaurant, with neat upholstered seats, is located to the left of the foyer and offers dining in a bright environment. Elsewhere, there is the Chinese a-la-carte restaurant with dark wood seats in an spacious setting as well as an Italian a-la-carte venue.

Grounds

Despite a quiet ambience, the property actually has 364 rooms located in 3 storey blocks surrounding the central pool deck area but with almost as many of the rooms facing out from the property as facing in. The large lagoon shaped pool is crossed mid way by an arched bridge leading to a pool bar which is shaded, at times, by a cluster of palm trees. The surrounds of the pool are tiled with ample plastic and wooden sun-loungers and white cloth parasols. The palm trees and rock effect features create a very attractive effect. The hotel operates a shuttle to the beachfront of the LTI Grand Azure where there are bar and sun-lounger facilities. There is also a shuttle service 4 times a day to Na’ama Bay, sometimes for a small charge, and guests have free access to Black House Disco at their sister property there.

Location

Area Type: The Tropicana Azure Club is one of the few hotels on the landside of the 3 km road through Nabq Bay. With mainly residential blocks either side, it stands opposite its sister property, LTI Grand Azure which has shops, bazaars and restaurants immediately outside. Na’ama Bay, the main nightlife area, is 14 km away. Transfer time to Sharm el Sheikh Airport 15 minutes.
