The Three Corners Palmyra Resort
Although appearing to be quite isolated, the Three Corners Palmyra is a self-contained establishment offering, within it's grounds, a range of leisure and dining facilities. There is a shuttle service several times a day to a beach at it's sister property but other properties in the area could be considered if a beach is the main attraction of a holiday. Most of the facilities are accessible from a single-level.
Exterior
Surrounded at the front by barren desert, the hotel stands back from the quiet road which is the main route in to Nabq Bay. It has an attractively landscaped and carefully manicured garden to the front around which a U-shaped drive leads up to the entrance. The imposing pink building is topped by traditional dome roofs which, as well as being decorative, provide a naturally cool interior. The main entrance arched foyer reaches the equivalent of three floors.

There is a sunken seating area as a centrepiece, comfortably furnished with soft arm chairs and tables and adorned by green foliage plants. The long Reception Desk is located on the right hand side and in the far left corner is the main bar with high tables and cushioned chairs looking out through the window over the pool deck. Between the bar and a boutique is the entrance to the main Nubian Restaurant which has a central raised buffet server allowing for free movement around the choices on offer. The seating, down a step, has high backed wooden and cushioned seating with patio doors leading on to the pool deck.

Grounds
In the grounds, all the 157 rooms are pool and lazy river facing and located in 1, 2 and 3-storey pink coloured blocks with attractive balconies. The large main swimming pool is crescent shaped with, on one side, 4 wide gentle steps leading in to the depth. Surrounded by wooden sun-loungers with mattresses and shaded by fixed parasols, there is a pool bar with a swim-up section. From the main pool, a lazy river, crossed by an arched wooden bridge, runs through the grounds and connects with a 2nd quiet-area pool towards the rear of the property. There is a children's playground with climbing frame and, by the main pool bar, a covered table tennis and darts area. The hotel also has the Chez Pascal a-la-carte restaurant which has seasonal opening dates.
