From its cliff top location, the views from this property are quite breathtaking and many of the terraced layers of accommodation benefit from this. There are lifts within the wings but otherwise quite a number of steep steps leading through low white washed walls giving an almost Mediterranean ambience. There is a choice of board arrangements and dining venues as well as a wide range of activities from horse riding to tennis, swimming to playing in addition to a supervised childrens club. This is suitable for families and couples with those looking to head for the Naama Bay nightlife availing themselves of the courtesy bus rather than the long uphill walk.

A long driveway leads 1000m up from the main road uphill through a barren landscape to a central set down area in the single-storey main reception building. Fronted by a crazy paving style terrace with a predominantly white facade styled in Moorish traditions including a domed top and arched doorway. Interior

Large square shaped lobby, double height with marble effect white and patterned flooring, white walls and dark wood roof struts following a Moorish design. Illuminated by both the large wood framed arched windows and the high traditional glass topped turret, the carved wooden fronted reception counter extends the width.

A raised seating area has bench like, cushioned seating and there are shrubs in brass pots as well as elaborate chandeliers. The lobby bar continues with a wooden theme and has high backed chairs at brass topped tables.

The main restaurant, situated downhill from reception has both indoor and outdoor seating on a terracotta-coloured tiled flooring with high round backed wooden chairs at predominantly square tables with views across the resort.

Grounds

Property style resembles an amphitheatre with the five tier terraces of accommodation encircling the grounds best viewed from the terrace behind reception which has water features and gardens overlooked by a shop.

White stone steps bordered by high walls gradually lead into the main body of the grounds passing further shops. An abundance of greenery, bougainvillea and other hanging plants enhance the white facade of the accommodation and terraces have wrought iron railings and black framed arched windows and doors.

Elevators are in both wings of providing easier access to the a la carte restaurants situated on the deck level. The swimming pool is lagoon shaped with a paved terrace surround furnished with mattressed sunloungers and fixed wooden top parasols.

A children's club is situated towards the side of the pool deck opposite the main dining venues. The terrace is bordered by a decorative and balustraded wall with high views across the sea best enjoyed from the attractive gazebo.

A wide paved track passes the restaurants and entertainment area and winds its way around the cliff top to reach small sandy coves, some with a steep access, which are furnished with sunloungers and parasols. Path continues eventually to a side gate from which steps lead down to the beginning of the promenade.

A wide pathway slopes from the property through the grounds winding its way to the end of the promenade that skirts around the bay and leads to the main restaurant and shop area of the resort, 30-min walk.
