The pool deck areas of this extensive property are very attractively landscaped with one reserved for lively activities and the other for quiet relaxation. With the exception to the area immediately by reception, many of the facilities are a trek away and this includes quite a steep slop down to a cliff top beach area. Beach lovers will appreciate the shallow waters but may be not the small area of sand by the waters edge reached by some very uneven steps.

Interior

The foyer has a polished marble-effect brown floor and high white ceilings supported on bulky pillars. In the centre a raised lounge area is furnished with comfortable armchairs and sofas. At one end is the check-in area with a line of wooden seats in a row giving the appearance of a railway waiting room, an ambience further reflected at the opposite end with a heavily panelled bar area and billiard tables. However, through the double glass doors at the rear, leading towards the main buffet restaurant with well-spaced elegant furnishings, an attractive view of the gardens can be seen.

The grounds contain 288 rooms in 3-storey blocks and clusters mostly overlooking one of the 2 pools one of which is reserved for relaxation. There are sturdy sun-loungers and parasols around the pools and the entire top end of the property features neat lawns, flower beds, shrubs and palms. Beyond the pool area and main blocks, there is a service road that starts sloping steeply through a barren strip of ground towards the first level of beach where there is an al fresco Italian a-la-caret restaurant with views along the coast. The beach area is actually cliff top with an adequate supply of sun-loungers, parasols and the convenience of a snack bar. The waters edge is accessed via a number of uneven rock steps ascending 3 m to a small beach crammed with sun-loungers overlooked by a natural breakwater.
