Spread over extensive grounds hugging the cliff top, attractively landscaped with clusters of rooms looking over lawns and gardens. The main building houses many of the facilities including main restaurant and children's club and, with a choice of board options and other dining venues, the lack of choice outside the property within walking distance is insignificant.

Exterior

Standing off the quiet road that continues to Fanara, a double entrance bold gatehouse stands behind neatly tendered lawned gardens with a cobbled drive continuing, at an incline, past a wing of accommodation and small pool to the main entrance in the centre of a C-shaped double height building. A bold, column supported portico extends over the polished marble effect forecourt accessed by wide steps adorned with potted shrubs.

Interior

The expansive 2 tier lobby is circular with a large domed roof supported on broad columns. Polished marble effect flooring on the upper-level is surrounded by a wrought iron and brass balustrade overlooking the lower-level. Upstairs on the entry-level is a long wooden fronted reception counter, lobby bar and a series of shops.

Beyond solid wooden doors lies the main restaurant which has wooden framed, upholstered chairs at mainly square tables with, beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, further seating on broad terrace overlooking the grounds. A magnificent stairway leads downstairs from where the grounds can be accessed.

Grounds

Clifftop gardens are attractively styled with lawns, shrubberies and flowerbeds overlooked by the clusters of 2 and 3-storey accommodation blocks. The main swimming pool is located in front of the reception building and has a broad terrace furnished with mattressed wooden framed sunloungers and parasols.

There are two other large pools similarly furnished further down the sloping grounds both with separate bar and one with a further a la carte restaurant. Sandy beach is well furnished and there is a jetty with diving centre.

The children's club and beauty centre are located at the main reception building beyond which, to the front of the resort, there are tennis courts and a further cluster of rooms around a small pool.

Area Type: Situated in the Hadaba area at the SW tip of Sharm el Sheikh on a cliff top location. Other hotels are in the immediate vicinity with a limited number of restaurants within walking distance and a shopping mall opposite. The Old Town restaurants are 10-mins by taxi with the lively area of Na’ama Bay 15-mins by taxi. Transfer to Sharm el Sheikh Airport 30-mins.
