This property has an Andalucian village architectural style with most of the facilities on a single-level accessed from the open interior with the obvious exception of the rooms built up the hillside to the rear. Benefitting from a full length pool in addition to the lagoon style centre-piece, the property has the advantage of shared beach facilities at it's sister establishment across the road. With a generally quieter ambience to surrounding properties, there is a large children's supervised children's club too.

A 200 m drive sweeps up through carefully manicured lawned gardens to the entrance of the Novotel Palm ending in a circular set-down area dominated by a centrepiece fountain and 4 palms.and a white, Moorish style single-storey frontage.

Interior

The entrance leads on to an open air, marble floored area adorned by large clay pots and neat little gardens of low foliage. A door opens in to the reception area which has smooth crazy-paving style flooring, high white walls and clusters of soft seating. Opposite, there is a stylish and large bar area with wicker armchairs and blue cushions on a black tiled floor. The La Palma Restaurant over looks the pool deck area and features a buffet area, open show cooking and tasteful wooden, cushioned chairs both indoors and out.

Grounds

The 185 rooms are in 2 and 3-storey blocks mostly surrounding the main feature pool although there are a number of distant sea view rooms perched above the main resort accessed by a high number of stairs and adjacent to a quiet pool area. The hotel also has a full length pool for serious swimmers. All the pools have sturdy sun-loungers with blue mattresses and heavy cloth parasols. The Bubble Bar by the feature pool offers drinks and snacks with seating on black wicker chairs. A fenced-off area houses a climbing frame for children and 3 detached rooms for different supervised activities. Across the road from the hotel is the Novotel Coralia Beach Resort where guests can use the spa and fitness facilities, sign for drinks and meals and use the private beach area.

Area Type: The Novotel Palm is situated on the land-side of the road running past Na’ama Bay opposite the beach-side sister establishment Novotel Coralia Beach Resort. A short stroll from the property are a few shops but there is a much wider choice at then western end of the esplanade 20 minutes walk away. Transfer time to Sharm el Sheikh Airport 15 minutes.
