Laguna Vista Garden

Although the Laguna Vista Garden Resort is situated on the land side of the resort, it benefits from being opposite it's much larger sister property where many of the facilities, including the beach, can be utilised. There is a generally quieter more compact feel to this quite spacious property with grounds attractively landscaped around the water features. Dining is upstairs which rules it out for those preferring facilities on a single-level but it does have an appeal for couples and families.

Exterior

A cobbled drive leads up to the gatehouse and on to the circular forecourt beyond. The central garden is adorned with flowers, shrubs and neatly tended grass as are the garden areas to the sides. The single-storey entrance building has a large glass frontage and is thatched with a portico supported on 4 columns.

Interior

Inside, the beige walls, brown tiled floor and white ceiling provides a cool reception area with the desk to the right and some comfortable seating areas. The immediate view through the floor to ceiling windows beyond is the pool deck. The main Habiba buffet restaurant is situated upstairs in a building to the left of reception, overlooking the road, and features polished wooden flooring and comfortable, cushioned black furnishings with both indoor and outdoor areas. The buffet station is semi-circular with a live cooking station. Off the terrace is a bar with seating around tables and tall bar chairs. There is also an attractive shisha corner.

Grounds

The grounds lead on from the main building with a terrace featuring wicker sofas and chairs overlooking the pool deck where sturdy plastic sun-loungers surround the lagoon shaped centre-piece - a lazy river connecting that to a children's pool. The 160 rooms are situated in 1 and 2-storey thatched chalets all of which overlook carefully maintained gardens of palms, shrubs and flower beds. Snacks are also available from the pool bar and guests can use the beach and other facilities at the Laguna Vista Beach Resort opposite.

There is a variety of shops, bazaars and restaurants within easy walking distance and the nightlife area of Na’ama Bay is 15 km away. Transfer time to Sharm el Sheikh Airport 15 minutes.
