Jaz Mirabel Beach

Despite sharing an area with it's 2 sister properties, the Jaz Mirabel Beach has impressive large grounds dominated by a centre-piece pool system leading down to the wide sandy beach. There are numerous dining and entertainment facilities including a water-slide amenity and spa at the Jaz Mirabel Park. The majority of the essential facilities are on a single-level although some dining options are a floor higher. This property is differentiated from the others in the complex by it's size and immediate beach location and has an appeal across all ages.

Exterior

From a gated entrance on the main road, a drive runs in to the centre of complex passing the Jaz Mirabel Club on the right. The drive rises up to a circular set-down area off which 3 entrances are located. To the right is the main entrance to the Jaz Mirabel Park with accommodation reaching back towards the road, to the left, in a courtyard setting, with 1 of the a-la-carte restaurants and, straight ahead, the single-storey double-height main entrance to the hotel covered by a Georgian-style portico.

Interior

The main foyer has an elegant style with colonnaded pillars, a huge chandelier and clusters of soft furnishings on a white marble-effect floor. Stairs lead down to the main restaurant area and an area that resembles a souk with bazaar-style shopping, a further a-la-carte dining option with indoor and terrace seating areas and a nightclub.

Grounds

The expansive grounds are bordered on 2 sides by the 3-storey blocks that house the 645 rooms. A network of paths criss-cross the neat lawns and flower beds which surround the 2 large swimming pools. These are the focus of much of the activity with separate pools for children, 5 waterslides and diving instruction. Sturdy upholstered sun-loungers are readily available with shade provided under fixed palm-frond structures or under the thatched terrace of the pool snack bar. The sandy beach is 100m wide with large open spaces between regimental lines of palm thatched parasols and sun-loungers. The property operates 2 children's clubs and there is a large play area. The health club, located at the Jaz Mirabel Park offers 9 treatment rooms and a sauna.

Towards the end of the 3 km stretch of resort properties at Nabq Bay, the area offers a good variety of shops, bazaars and restaurants, all within easy walking distance. Adjacent to the complex there is the Royal Albatros Moderna Resort on one side and the Tropicana Sea Beach on the other. Guests looking for nightlife outside the complex and the limited bars in the area should head to Na’ama Bay, 16 km away. Transfer time to Sharm el Sheikh Airport 15 minutes.
