A modest but likeable smaller scale operation with a friendly, sociable ambience. It offers some attractive touches - although the finishing can be a bit rough around the edges in places (this is Egypt!). The pool areas are well-presented and the waterslides will appeal to younger children. A shuttle bus compensates for the distance to the beach. Suitable for undemanding visitors on a budget; popular with Russians.

A modest, 2 storey white stone main building with decorative stonework. 32 attractive 2-storey villa style buildings with balconies or patios are scattered around the grounds.

The lobby has mellow yellow stone walls with four low columns set around a tiny sunken seating area; groups of quality seating are arranged around the edges. A pleasant airy modern bar is on one side. A slightly cramped but pleasant 1st floor buffet restaurant has stone walls and a carved wood ceiling.

Grounds

Sizeable neat grounds have an amphitheatre, a small parade of gift shops and a thatched poolside fish restaurant. One pool boasts 3 waterslides and has a narrow concrete surround with sunbeds and wicker sunshades. A second pool has a thatched, shaded swim up bar.

Location

Area Type: Beside a dusty road near the airport, in an isolated desert area close to Sharks Bay with a few local homes and unfinished buildings scattered around. A small supermarket, chemist and a couple of small hotels are nearby.
