Exterior

This property faces an undeveloped area but backs on to Barron Resort development. From the quiet service road a large gatehouse marks the entrance with a 200 m palm tree lined drive leading up to the front entrance. Cobbled forecourt in front of the 2-storey high mainly glass fronted main building which has a stone clad wall effect and a small portico over the glass doors.

Interior

The triple height lobby has a mainly glass facade and is dominated by a display of 4 artificial palm trees acting as columns supporting the ceiling. The reception desk standing to one side from where the unique design is clearly visible as a series of steps and passages wind their way down a further level passing integral lounge areas furnished with soft cushioned sofas and armchairs.

Ornate streetlamps, stone clad walls, grey polished marble flooring, low walls and potted shrubs add to the decor. The lobby bar is attractively furnished with views across the grounds.

Grounds

From the large terrace outside reception building, a long stairway with a wooden topped wrought iron balustrade reaches into the grounds. From here the extent of the property can be viewed showing five tiers of terraced accommodation which has a light terracotta facade 2 and 3-storeys high with balconies and terraces looking inwards, many draped with bougainvillea and other hanging plants.

Beneath the reception area there is a dining zone accessed from the grounds including the main restaurant which is furnished with high backed, cushioned chairs at predominantly square tables in an environment of light shaded tiled flooring and neutral coloured walls.

Seating spills onto the terrace overlooked by an a la carte venue. To the front of this is the main lagoon shaped swimming pool which is surrounded by broad terrace furnished with sunloungers and parasols.

The children's section is behind an interesting brick construction designed to look like a village. At the front of the property are single-storey terraced rooms overlooking an expanse of lawn gardens towards the sea.

The grounds are attractively landscaped with a mixture of shrubs trees and flower beds. The beach comprises fine, golden sand and has furnishings, a further dining outlet and a long jetty for snorkelling.
