The interior has a slightly dated and vaguely Arabic décor with a huge 1st-floor lobby which has solid wooden lounge seating and an attractive bar with a sea-facing terrace; a small bazaar occupies one corner. Steps lead down to a vast busy buffet restaurant.

Grounds

Pleasant, neat gardens with colourful flowers surround the accommodation buildings which are connected by concrete paths. A sizeable infinity pool is edged by a narrow concrete terrace which is crammed with mattressed loungers and parasols, and has a swim up bar; it extends to a cascade beside a sun terrace. 1 pool has a built-in gym for water aerobics. An attractive Italian/seafood a la carte restaurant boasts a pretty trellis terrace and unforgettable sea views. Tiered sandy sun terraces have a thatched bar, massage beds, loungers and wicker parasols, and lead to a man made beach crowded with loungers; a couple of floating jetties over the coral sea bed have ladder sea access.
