Interior

Expansive positioned lobby in the centre of the main building which is single height topped with a glass pyramid roof and featuring polished marble effect flooring and neutral-coloured walls adorned by a large modernistic African art.

A raised lounge area in the centre is surrounded by a low internal shrubbery, furnished with deep cushioned sofas at glass topped tables. A large wooden fronted reception counter also with clusters of high backed armchairs.

At the rear, overlooked by the open balcony with wrought iron railings, a broad stairway sweeps down to the lower-level which has a double height floor-to-ceiling window facade casting light across the white patterned marble floor and the main restaurant which has high backed wooden framed furnishings spilling onto the courtyard like atrium.

Grounds

2 semicircular 3-storey high terracotta facaded blocks with terraces and balconies mainly facing inward over the neatly lawned gardens with palm trees, shrubberies and flower beds.

Central feature is the pool complex which is a series of pools and connecting lagoons crisscrossed by arched wooden bridges. A broad paved terrace surrounding the area is furnished with mattressed sunloungers and cloth parasols.

Palm trees line the promenade which separates the gardens from the 450m stretch of sandy beach. Here there is a further dining venue and regimented lines of parasols and sunloungers.
