Exterior

The long straight road cuts across the desert reaching a circular set down area in front of a single-storey flat x-shaped main building. A modern Karnak temple design with broad steps leading up to a portico covered marble floor foyer beyond which double glass doors are set within a much larger glass frontage. From the wings, long vertical windows overlook the garden that decorates the forecourt surround.

Interior

The expansive lobby occupies much of the floor space at the entrance level. It has highly polished marble floors and floor-to-ceiling windows run the entire length affording views across the terrace and over the grounds.

There is a large wooden fronted reception counter, well spaced clusters of soft furnishings and, at the northern end, a large lobby bar with bistro style wooden framed furnishings.

The main restaurant occupies the lower-ground floor and has large windows with seating inside and spread over the adjoining terrace.

Grounds

Extensive grounds with a large pool deck surrounded by a broad paved terrace furnished with sunloungers and parasols. 2-storey wings extending from the main building and in terraced rows of single-storey units throughout the attractive and well maintained lawned gardens.

A path leads beyond the children's play area and slopes towards the shoreline where there is a further dining and bar venue. The beach is furnished with wicker wind breaks, parasols and loungers.

The Dive Centre benefits from the long wooden jetty that protrudes from the sands across the shallow reef waters with a terminus over the deep shelf drop.

Area Type: Situated 52km N of Marsa Alam town, 8km S of Marsa Alam Airport. Positioned at the end of a 1km access road which breaks from the main highway just south of the airport and has barren desert either side and opposite. Transfer time to Marsa Alam Airport 15 mins.
