The semi-circular frontage of this apparent 6-storey building stands back from the street with a cobbled set down area in front of the arched, colonnaded style lower 2 floors. Interior

Through the large glass plated doors is a stylishly furnished lobby with long wooden reception counter, marble floor and floor to ceiling windows to the rear overlooking an inner courtyard and the main body of the property. The circular courtyard is surrounded by the tiered, balconied and plant bedecked rooms and has a cobbled floor with attractive plant features. A coffee shop is situated on the lower level with both a Japanese and Lebanese restaurant reached by steps towards the centre and both with in door and terrace dining. Between the restaurants, through the middle of the H-shaped building is a Thai restaurant overlooking the pool deck and river as well as the main bar. On the lower ground floor is the main restaurant occupying much of the northern end with sturdy furnishings spreading on to a terrace. Opposite, is a shopping mall neatly positioned along an internal corridor.

Grounds

The focal point of the grounds is the large swimming pool deck, overlooked by tiered rooms, furnished with sun loungers and parasols overlooking the river. The wide terrace accommodates a bar and has some shading from trees. Feluccas are moored up alongside a lower terrace area reached by steps which is occasionally used as an outdoor bar area. On the 6th floor, there is a rooftop terrace although unfurnished in addition to a privately managed health club including fitness room, sauna, steam bath and non private massage beds.

Area Type: Situated on the Sharia Khalid Ibn Walid thoroughfare bordering the river, the street is full of bazaars, shops, restaurants and street cafes. The Corniche is reached within a 10 min stroll with Luxor Temple a further 15 mins. The main shopping district and railway station is within 20 min stroll. Transfer to Luxor Airport 20 mins.
