Exterior

This property stands in the grounds of the Winter Palace and has a separate entrance from the Corniche located to the side of the 19th-century row of arched windowed shops on the street. A columned portico covers the marble-floored passage where other shops are located.

A pathway winds its way 200m through the gardens to the front of the modern 6-storey property with balconied rooms overlooking the grounds. A discreet front entrance sits under a portico draped with trailing plants.

Interior

A discreet glass-door entrance opens on to a small, triple height and tiered lobby, overlooked from wooden balustrades, with a small wooden fronted, marble topped reception counter facing a cluster of soft seating.

The only other public area to this property is the restaurant which is accessed from the outside opposite the entrance through wooden framed glass doors. It is furnished with slim framed chairs and tables and has doors to the rear opening on to a small patio area.

Grounds

Facing the park like grounds of the estate with meandering gravel paths winding their way through the neatly mown lawns and low trimmed hedges with numerous palms providing shade.

The large swimming pool, shared with Sofitel Old Winter Palace, is located to one end and has a wide terrace furnished with sunloungers and parasols. There is a bar servery in a detached building to the side of the pool and a terraced dining venue.
