Interior

The lobby resembles an ancient, Moorish interior with a hexagonal shape, highly polished marble flooring and lattice features extending the triple height. On the lower level, a pointed arch colonnade runs parallel to each wall with a cluster of smart, upholstered seating by each.

In addition to a discreet reception counter, there is an Arabic restaurant on this level with a stairway leading down to the expansive main restaurant which has a mixture of marble and carpeted flooring and panoramic windows over the grounds.

A separate corridor leads to the northern wing of the property which has an individual check-in area for the spa suites. An open courtyard with juice bar fronts the fitness and massage facilities with the luxurious suites and their individual adjoining treatment rooms further down.

Grounds

The grounds, like the property, are split into 2 areas with the first being in front of the spa and spa suites containing a large infinity pool bordering the river. Surrounded by neat lawns and a wide terrace, sunloungers and parasols are provided in this generally peaceful location.

The 2nd area fronts the main building and has a largely paved terrace, with shrubbery gardens and palms surrounding a double tier swimming pool with circular pool bar. In addition to sunloungers and parasols, there are inbuilt beds in the pool. The grounds end at the waters edge where there is a felucca dock.

Area Type: Situated on the east bank of the river at Karnak, 10 mins drive from Luxor and in a peaceful location. Shops at the entrance to the grounds but, otherwise, all other facilities are in the city accessable via a shuttle bus operated by the property or taxis. Minibuses can be waved down on the street. Transfer to Luxor Airport 30 mins.
