Standing off the busy street, with an inconspicuous entrance of a double door way within a row of ground-floor shops and bazaars, many with goods flowing onto the street.



From the opposite side of the road, in front of the Pyramisa Isis, a staggered series of floors can be seen in a predominantly white facade. 1st floor windows are rectangular with those above angled to incorporate a balcony.

Interior

A dimly lit lobby has white tiled flooring and a chrome plated ceiling with clusters of modern wooden framed, upholstered chairs and sofas standing on oriental style rugs.



A small reception counter and boutique selling souvenir items are the only amenities in this area but an open doorway towards the rear opens onto a zig-zagged tiered terrace area housing an entertainments stage overlooked by a small bar behind large glass windows.

Grounds

A stairway leads up to the 1st-floor pool deck which is overlooked by 40 balconied rooms, the other 15 rooms look over the street in front. The deck area is furnished with sunloungers and parasols and has a large bar with tv screen in a detached glass fronted block adjacent. The restaurant, John & Johns, is also accessed from the deck and is smartly furnished with indoor and limited outdoor seating.

Area Type: Located on the city side of the busy Sharia Khalid Ibn Walid thoroughfare opposite the Pyramissa Isis property. Neighboured by bazaars and other shops, restaurants and street cafes in the vicinity. The main shopping area around the station can be reached within 25 min walk, same as Luxor Temple on the Corniche. Transfer to Luxor Airport 20 mins.
