La Perla Hotel
Compact establishment bordering the main road and backing onto residential and commercial properties. It only has a small pool but it is only a small hotel. The dining and drinking facilities are stylish but just functional. Would suit adults in particular looking for a base close to the town centre facilities.

4-storey property standing back from the main road separated only by a 10m wide path. A wing of rooms face towards the street with metal balcony railings while the front entrance has double height tinted glass arched windows. There is some greenery including a couple of palm trees as well as a small terrace with bistro-style seating.

Interior
The large square lobby is quite sparsely furnished with only a few soft cushioned armchairs and sofas on the white marble effect floor. It has floor to ceiling windows to the front and sides and a short wooden fronted reception counter overlooked by a glass balustrade upper tier.
Lounge area has an integral bench, cushioned seating and cafe-style tables and chairs. A stairway leads up to the open plan higher level which houses the restaurant and has wicker framed chairs at predominantly square tables with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the pool deck. Main bar is located up a few further steps overlooking the restaurant.

Grounds
The rectangular pool is separated from the 4-storey high accommodation blocks only by a narrow paved terrace on two sides while, on the garden side, there is a terrace of artificial grass furnished with wooden sunloungers and mattresses with cloth parasols. The uneven garden is mainly laid to grass with some palm trees and shrubs and a boundary marked by a trimmed hedge.

Area Type: Located on a busy section just off Sheraton Road on the approach to Sakkala from the coastal stretch of road that runs parallel to the ring road and airport. Restaurants and shops are within a 15-min stroll at the main tourist and hotel area immediately south of the town centre with Sakkala walkable uphill in 30-mins. Transfer to Hurghada Airport 15-mins.
