Jungle Aqua Park Hotel

Modern built property carefully designed to place the majority, though not all, of the accommodation clusters away from the extensive aqua park which is open to the general public at a charge. It has an appeal both for couples and, in particular, families with the advantage of many quiet pools and a broad range of dining venues.

Exterior

A driveway leads off the main road passing a large car parking area and continues up an incline lined by bold balustrade adorned with ornamental lights to a large portico which reaches over the set down area in front of the single height, domed top main building. A polished marble effect forecourt extends the width of the building overlooked by floor to ceiling windows and glass plate doors.

Interior

The 2-tier lobby has a polished marble effect floor and ornate columns across which runs a brass topped balustrade overlooking an attractively furnished lounge with deep cushioned armchairs and sofas on rugs brightly lit by the windows.

There are potted shrubs and animal murals on the walls. On the upper-level, in addition to the long reception counter, there is a shop and coffee bar with bistro-style furnishings.

Most of the dining and drink facilities are located in a zigzag wing adjacent to the lobby. Each decorated to an individual style, there is an Asian, German, Moroccan and Viking themed restaurant in addition to the main Mediterranean venue. In between are the various bars and entertainment venues including the amphitheatre, shops and a spa.

Grounds

Accommodation is located throughout the extensive lawned grounds in a variety of single and 2-storey high clusters most of which surround pools. Each of the 19 pools is surrounded by wide terrace furnished with sunloungers and parasols and many with bar service.

The main focal point here is the large Aqua Park which has a further 11 pools and 35 giant water slides, also well furnished and is open to the general public. Tennis courts, football pitch and mini-golf are located towards the rear of the resort.

Area Type: Located off the main road to Safaga to the S of the resort in a large park like setting inland. A shopping mall is within 15-min walk with the other major hotel complexes lining the seafront beyond that. Shopping, restaurants and bars of Sakkala are 15-mins by taxi. Transfer to Hurghada Airport 15-mins.
