Attractively decorated and furnished public areas and benefits from a beach side location but lacking the water shoots and activities of other properties. Would suited to couples and families with older children.

Exterior

From the main road, this property resembles a Mediterranean-style village with its white double height facade and central round Tower. A narrow strip of garden separates the parking area on the road with a short drive leading up to a tiled portico which stands on narrow columns over a marble effect forecourt.

Interior

2-tier square lobby is topped by a glass pyramid ceiling which looks down on to the white patterned marble flooring and a central garden feature. Rows of cushioned bench style seating and clusters of deep cushioned armchairs and sofas. The upper level has a discrete balustrade with some further seating.

For an area so vast, the reception counter occupies only a small alcove and has a wooden front adorned with potted shrubs either side. The main restaurant stands in the circular part of the building and has floor to ceiling windows overlooking the grounds as well as sturdy wooden framed, cushioned seats at predominantly square tables.

Grounds

Glass doors at the rear of the lobby open onto a wide terrace which is furnished with wicker style armchairs at round glass topped tables. Park-like grounds are laid to lawn with neatly trimmed shrubberies and attractive flower beds.

Accommodation is mainly situated in the 2-storey wings that surround the garden although there are clusters of individual blocks closer to the beach. The lagoon shaped pool has a wide surround furnished with mattressed sunloungers and parasols.

A line of palm trees stretches along the beach, which is also well furnished, where a natural break water forms a lagoon effect.

Area Type: Located to the S of the resort, adjacent to the Albatross complex and set back, on the beach side, from the main road that runs from the town centre, across desert, to Sahl Hasheesh. Along the road, usually adjacent to entrances of other properties, there are rows of shops with the main shopping area in Sakkala, 15-mins taxi away where there are restaurants and bars.
