Opinion

An attractive property that has placed a lot of focus on the gardens, this has an appeal for families and couples. There is a large pool area, long beach and good choice of dining venues.

Exterior

A drive passing residential properties leads up to a gatehouse and continues on to a cobbled drive up to a 3-storey square building comprising the main entrance.

The upper 2-floors with wooden framed windows are supported by columns on the ground-level and create a drive through portico bordered with shrubs and large potted plants. The main doors are set back 5m under the supporting structure.

Interior

A square double height lobby is compact with guest service desks, marble flooring and areas of soft seating. The main restaurant is located to one side with tiered floors and an outdoor terrace. The main bar has an impressive drinks display extending the full double height of the room.

Grounds

Open-sided corridors lead from the lobby to other parts of the property starting with a comfortably furnished terrace lounge. In addition to a long stretch of beach, a lagoon provides attractive landscaping within the grounds crossed by wooden bridges leading to the different clusters of 2 and 3-storey blocks of rooms, all surrounded by carefully tendered lawns and lush shrubberies.

The large lagoon shaped main pool is situated to one side and features a wide terrace with sunloungers and parasols. Adjacent there is a freeform pool and separate children's pool with play area. In this area is the Egyptian speciality restaurant in addition to a further bar and an attractive cascade feature built in to the main wall. Towards the beach, which also has sunloungers and parasols, is the sea food restaurant and watersports centre.

Area Type: Situated on a series of islands on the lagoon and bordering the sea to the east of Downtown in this purpose built resort. Connected to the mainland by a short bridge and a road passing villa and residential blocks. Footbridges connect the property to Movenpick Resort & Spa to the south with the Ocean View Resort immediately to the north. A shuttle bus and tuk-tuks operate to Downtown which can be reached within a 20 min walk. Transfer to Hurghada Airport 30 mins.
