Opinion

This property enjoys a lagoon front location and has extensive gardens. The rooms have self-catering facilities and the restaurants and bars of downtown are a short walk away. Although there is no beach, it is suited to adults and families particularly as there is a shuttle service.

Exterior

A cobbled crescent-shaped inclined driveway is separated from the resort road by a heavily planted rockery with dominant palms.  A set of wide stairs leads up to a trellis like portico in front of the main doors.

Interior

An expansive foyer benefits from the floor-to-ceiling glass rear which provides natural light and overlooks the grounds. Polished marble flooring and white painted walls, add to the bright decor complemented by large chandeliers, comfortable seating and potted shrubs. The main bar stands to one corner providing drinks here and on the wide terrace.

Grounds

Steps lead down to the grounds with the restaurant immediately below offering both internal and external seating. The rooms are scattered in small clusters mainly surrounded by well tended lawns dotted with shrubs and palms.

There is a terrace of lagoon side accommodation on stilts over the water. The large pool deck is situated between the main building and the waters edge and has a wide terrace furnished with sunloungers and palm frond parasols.

Area Type: Located close to the centre of the purpose built resort within triangular gardens bordered on 2 sides by the lagoon overlooking, to the north, Downtown and, to the east, the villa complex in front of the Movenpick Resort & Spa. The view from the front is across the greens of the Golf Club and the Steigenberger Golf Resort. A shuttle bus and tuk-tuks operate to the beach located in the northeast of the resort. Transfer to Hurghada 30 mins.
