A gatehouse marks the start of the inclined cobbled drive that leads 300m past neatly tendered lawns and trimmed hedges to a circular drop down area in front of a double height terracotta-coloured frontage main building. There are slanted tiled roofs on both levels with the lower one covering a columns supported colonnade leading up to an angular portico.

Interior

Vast hexagonal lobby with patterned marble effect flooring and columns supporting an integral tower which takes the space to a third level in height. Clusters of soft seating are sparsely scattered acting as tour operator desks with only a long reception counter and guest service desks being the other facilities here. The wall-to-ceiling windows towards the rear open overlook a terrace and the grounds.

Grounds

Rooms are located on 3-levels in a series of wings and blocks throughout the grounds with the higher level parallel to reception and numerous open stairways and lifts leading down.

The main restaurant is located in a block to the side of reception and has both internal and external seating spreading on to the entertainment piazza which includes shops and stage.

Grounds are dominated by a large pool complex which is overlooked by a bar and open air restaurant which becomes the Thai restaurant by night. The seafood restaurant is situated above the watersports area to the southern extremity.

A quiet pool area is located towards the northern end close to the Angsana Spa. In addition to the pools, sunloungers are provided along the stretch of lagoon and along the beach.
