Opinion

This property has the advantage of a long sandy beach at its boundary and a wealth of facilities within its grounds. The is a focus of sporting activities, particularly water sports with tuition.

Most of the staff are involved in every activity from reception to tuition. Although there are no specific childrens facilities, this is a suitable choice for adults and families.

Exterior

The road that loops around the southern perimeter of the golf course leads over a lagoon and up to the set down area in front of an elevated single-storey main building reached via a flight of wide steps through a tidy lawned garden with palm trees and shrubs.

The terracotta-coloured frontage is topped by a flat roof with some of the blocks of rooms visible either side.

Interior

The entrance foyer is brightly lit with the aid of an angular glass dome roof. The hexagonal shape has an arched colonnade around the sides in which clusters of soft seating are situated on highly polished marble flooring all of which overlook the grounds across a terrace through a glass rear wall.

The main restaurant is situated further in to the grounds and has a bright environment benefitted from large windows overlooking the gardens, a furnished terrace and pool.

Grounds

The lagoon shaped pool has a wide terrace surround furnished with a variety of wooden framed patio style tables and chairs as well as mattressed sunloungers and cloth parasols.

Neatly tendered lawns, low boundary hedges and attractive shrubberies lead down to a wide stretch of beach where the extensive watersports centre is located. There are also 2 tennis courts and a squash court in addition to a fitness room.

Area Type: Situated on the southernmost part of this purpose built resort and bordering a large stretch of beach to the front. There is a villa complex to both sides with greens of the golf club and Steigenberger Golf Resort immediately behind. Neighbouring Movenpick Resort & Spa can be reached via a footbridge over a lagoon within 15 min walk. A shuttle bus and tuk-tuks operate to Downtown. Transfer to Hurghada Airport 30 mins.
