Opinion

Located only a short walk from the restaurants, bars and shops of downtown, this property has a good lagoon side position in attractive grounds. Although it has an appeal for couples and families, the shuttle is required for the main beach area.

Exterior

A short drive leads off from the main resort road to the double height pastel-coloured main entrance which has an arched portico reached by a few steps. The wings of rooms spanning from either side are largely obliterated by heavy, tidy shrubbery which extends across the foreground.

Interior

The wooden framed doors open on to a brightly lit, high lobby with marble flooring and pastel-coloured walls. An integral tier carries a passage linking the 2 wings at 1st-level. There is a small reception counter and concierge desk complimented by potted shrubs and a few clusters of soft seating.

The main restaurant is located at the end of the town-side wing and has sturdy wooden furnishings in a wooden floor and wall environment spreading out on to a narrow terrace.

Grounds

The grounds are dominated by a large infinity pool over the lagoon and has a wide terrace furnished with mattressed sunloungers and parasols serviced by a snack bar facility.

The rooms span the length of the grounds in 3-storey balconied wings overlooking tidy lawns bordered by trimmed hedges and dotted with stubby palm trees.

Location

Area Type: Situated across the lagoon from Downtown in the centre of the purpose built resort, the property faces the greens of the Golf Club and the grounds adjoin some residential blocks to the west. The shops, bars and restaurants can be reached within a 10 min walk with a shuttle coach and tuk-tuks operating to the beaches in the north east of the resort. Transfer to Hurghada Airport 30 mins.
