Opinion

This property is looking a tad tired, an impression not helped by stencilled notices and restaurant menus. The public areas are smartly furnished and the gardens attractively laid however, and the beach is a focal point during the day. Suited for adults and family parties looking for a no frills experience.

Exterior

A gatehouse marks the entrance from the main road in which a driveway leads across the gardens to the circular set down area of the 2-storey main building.

From the white facade, to wooden framed windows on both floors with a portico extending over a marble effect for court in front of the double door, arched entrance.

Interior

The two-tier lobby is by a traditional Dome ceiling from which an elaborate chandelier hangs. Reception counter stand in one corner with potted shrubs on either side.

There are clusters of soft cushions armchairs and sofas, a souvenir-style shop and a tour operator notice board. A stairway with a wrought iron banister to the second-level which houses the lobby bar and snooker tables.

At the rear of the lobby their doors opening onto terrace and a stairway leading down to the restaurant which has light coloured flooring and high backed wooden, cushioned chairs at predominantly square tables indoors and outside.

Grounds

The building is U-shaped with the 2-storey wings of accommodation extending from the main building down the sides of the grounds. The swimming pool has a broad terrace furnished with fixed parasols and sunloungers and surrounded by a narrow strip of garden with shrubs and flower beds.

By the beach there is a Sheesha corner and an a la carte restaurant venue adjacent to the children's play area. The beach is sandy and also furnished with sunloungers and parasols. There is a dive school and a jetty.
