A modern, sleek property with well tended gardens and stylish public areas. Main focus is on the beach and sporting facilities that are available making this a suitable choice for activity seekers.

An appealing resort to those not wanting to be in a major tourist hub and this property is suited, also, to couples seeking that solitude.

Exterior

A low white wall separates the grounds the main road and are accessed through a discrete gateway from which a drive continues 100 m across the lawn gardens, passing the parking area and some of the 2-storey accommodation blocks.

Semi-circular steps lead from the paved forecourt under a large portico which, by its design and decoration, unintentionally resembles a zebra hide. With shrubs standing in high clay urns on either side, the front entrance predominantly glass fronted.

Interior

The lobby has white and patterned marble flooring, neutral-coloured walls and domed ceilings. A semicircular reception counter stand to one side while in the centre there is a circular bench seating feature with leather cushions. Although the furnishings here are sparse, a prominent stairway leads up to a lounge area where there are clusters of deep cushioned sofas and armchairs.

The main restaurant is also located in the main building accessed through some wrought iron swing gates and is attractively furnished with high backed wooden chairs at predominantly rectangular tables with arched windows overlooking the gardens beyond.

Grounds

The terrace extending from the lobby surrounds the pool which is furnished with sunloungers and parasols and is overlooked by the oasis restaurant. Also the location of the children’s club with the health club access on the ground-floor of the main building.

Clusters of 2-storey wings of accommodation are located both in the front of the property and between the main building and seafront. Grounds are neatly laid to lawn with towering trees and some shrubberies.

The wide beach is furnished with wooden framed sunloungers and mattresses, palm frond parasols and wicker wind breaks. In addition to the beach bar, there is also a windsurf centre and dive club.

Area Type: Located on the beach overlooking the lagoon 4km from the main centre with a limited number of shops and restaurants.
