This modern property has a particular appeal to the meetings and incentive market and those looking for the amenities and quality associated with a well known brand. Both the golf course and spa are plus points for holidaymakers although its location away from most of the sights could involve long road transfers particularly when the notorious Cairo traffic is at its worst.

Exterior

A short drive from the main road to a gated entrance and large parking area beyond fronting the entrance to the integral golf club. An arch marks the slight incline drive which leads past the large meeting facility to a circular set down area in front of the apparent 3-storey white facade building. A large portico extends over the semi circular steps leading up to the front doors.

Interior

An extensive glass fronted lobby has polished marble effect flooring, low patterned ceilings and wood panelled columns. A series of low reception desk and a concierge face the revolving door entrance and there are clusters of wooden framed soft seating. With a view over the golf course behind, the main lounge is comfortably furnished and separated from the elegant main restaurant by high book and ornament shelving. A second restaurant is located across a furnished terrace on the same level.

Grounds

The grounds are reached by internal lifts and a wide exterior stairway to the ground floor level which has attractive shrubberies and wide paved terracing extending to an area below a feature column supported wing of rooms and second floor level. The spa facility is situated opposite the snack bar which has furnishings spreading on to the terraced area overlooking the expansive pool deck. The pool, surrounded by a semi-circular 4-storey wing of balconied rooms, has a tired sun deck with mattressed sunloungers and tidy shrubberies. The rear of the property, along which a path runs, is neatly laid to lawn bordering the golf course although there is no entrance back in to the property from there.

Location

Area Type: Situated outside the city off the main Cairo to Alexandria highway and in extensive grounds that include a golf course. The property is within 15 min drive of the Pyramids at Giza and, on clear roads, 40 mins in to the city centre. The hotel operates a courtesy bus. There are no facilities within the immediate neighbourhood although a modern shopping mall can be reached with 15 min drive. Transfer to Cairo International Airport 60 mins.
