Movenpick Resort Aswan
Opinion
Modern style property that lends itself well to the corporate and meetings market but is equally appealing to couples and families wanting the facilities provided by an internationally recognisable brand name. Although only a short ferry trip from the busy town, it offers a quiet ambience.
Exterior
The tower of this property is the most striking feature from afar but as the ferry draws near, the attractive gardens and 6-storey building become more apparent.
The docking area on the island is wide and steps lead up the jetty, with a path meandering its way through the neatly tended gardens of lawn, shrubberies and palm trees.
A large flag bedecked forecourt is backed by the main entrance where the windowed 2nd-floor acts as an integral portico over the doors.
