I stayed at this hotel last August. The hotel itself is large with a nice restaurant and bar area. The pool area is a good size and it has ample sunbeds. However, I found the hotel itself slightly bland. I would not reccommend it for families with younger children, as it has no activities to entertain them. Nightime entertainment is non existent and the distance away from Hurghada centre means that you can only get the hotel minubus there, which runs a couple of times per night. Therefore if you were looking for nightlife I would not recommend this hotel. The private bay is beautiful and safe to swim in, as only hotel residents are allowed to use it, there are always spare sunbeds. The hotel's private dive centre is ideal for those who want to scuba dive and if you want to arrange a snorkelling trip, do it through the private boats on the harbour as they find the best places, are much cheaper and you are able to decide where you want to go. We hired the whole boat for 3 hours for 30! When we stayed, we were one of the only English families staying here, the majority being Italian or German. Basically if you like large international hotels with good facilities and aren't worried about atmosphere or entertainment this hotel is ideal. I would recommend it to couples who are looking for a quiet holiday.
