A mixed story
Hotel grounds, pool area and beach were excellent. There’s nice shallow waters which is good for families. The snorkelling is not as good as Sharm el Sheikh. The food was OK just nothing outstanding. The nicest was the Oasis beach restaurant for lunch which was fresh and hot! The entertainment was non-existent. Drinks were mainly ok although I drank my duty free too. Staff will love you (being English) they are just as sick of the rude and greedy Russians as we were (this is no joke !). We were totally outnumbered by them, they ruled! Being further out of Hurgharda was not a problem. You can haggle for a taxi out the front. Pay no more than 30 Egyptian Pounds each way. Top trips were Luxor and Mahayma Island for snorkelling. Both were excellent days out. Overall a great week’s holiday, a good base and I would definitely go back to the Hurgharda area. l would only book hotel again for a bargain basement price.

Bad food!
I've just returned from this hotel. The hotel itself was lovely, especially the pool area. Rooms were very spacious and clean too. The food was a major let down in this hotel. It was basically the same thing every night and there was only really 4 mains to choose from which were always repeated. The location of this hotel was also not too good. All the other hotels in this resort had shopping areas opposite whereas this one was isolated. I honestly would not recommend this hotel due to the food and it's location.
