Nice hotel but not as good as others
Stayed at the Dana beach resort for new year 06-07. The hotel is lovely, but other resorts around the Red Sea of the same standard are better. The hotel is huge and if you have a room by the reception then you'll be in for around a 10-15 minute walk to the beach! A good choice of bars and restaurants and the pool areas are also very nice with plenty of sun loungers. This hotel does tend to attract a lot of Russian clientele.
