Taba
Taba is the name of the border town which was part of Israel until 1989 when the frontier was moved. But for tourists, this name also incorporates over 12 mls of coastline stretching southwards from the border and taking in the purpose-built resort development of Taba Heights.
Here, several hotels are located as well as a golf course, diving centre and a few shops.
